Uniformis is an online marketplace for schools and parents to buy and sell pre-loved school uniform. Our aim is to provide environmental and financially aware parents with an alternative when buying uniforms.

In the UK, formal school uniform is typically required for a total of 14 years, Reception through to Year 13. During this time, parents can pay up to £300+ for their child’s school uniform. These are high quality uniforms that are typically outgrown before they are outworn.

Uniformis will modernise the current approach to secondhand uniform sales by providing schools with an re-commerce platform, schools can continue to raise money through the sale of second hand items, whilst also facilitating parent-to-parent selling.

We recognise the work that schools do to educate our children and support sustainability programs. However, recent studies show that 90% of uniforms end in landfill, this needs to change. With the support of Uniformis we can help instill an environmentally aware culture within the school family from an early age.

Our pilot scheme is now live for parents and schools to buy and sell preloved, secondhand school uniform online.
